CAT!
This afternoon I put a blanket on my windowsill, and he had a brilliant time just lounging in the sun watching everyone come and go downstairs!
So guys, any names spring to mind? Oh and, the pictures dont do him justice! *sigh*

first off, congradulations !! although you seemed to me to be much more of a dog person, still congrads.
as for the name, well, from what this cat did in the pictures,he doesn't seem lazy so much as contemplative. and maybe he's not from ireland, maybe he is, but right off the bat:
Beckett ! as in Samuel Beckett came to mind. now this may be a very serious name, and i don't know how you go on the first and last name for a cat ( i don't know how far down the crazy line you've reached being the cat lady's protege), but i think samuel is a cool name. it even shortens to sam so it has a nice ring to it.
or are you looking for a cutsie kind of name? like skipper, or boots? if that's the case then maybe try Neko , which is cat in japanese. its got a nice ring to it.

I LOVE LOVE that name!! Samuel Beckett is an amazing idea, and Beck is so cute! i was actually trying to choose something unusual like that. something with meaning.
although froggie, Felix is wonderful! ;P
This morning i thought of... Almond. His eyes are shaped like almond, and he's just so intelligent. Not sure.
Also, Neko is fantastic. Geniusnator, can you name all my cats from now on?? lol i like the way you think my friend. ill try out those names on his today.

ok, i know im obsessed with the far east but i like the name FAI which means brilliant light in chinese.. or seeing as he does look so proud, maybe haben which means pride, not sure exactly in what laguage but i know it is an african dialect.. hmmmmm,, one more african name ,, Jabari which means brave and fearless.. ok ,, im also obsessed with names which i can barely prnounce and from a language i can NOT understand lol

POET i like where you were coming from, i was going in the same direction too! i was actually considering calling him Bane (look up the meaning of that one! haha) or Neo or Deo.
Still so confused, but i think im just going to make a decision within a day or two.
thank god it takes 9 months to have a child, i think id need that to think of a name!!

What a cute cat...I think Chi (rhymes with Pie)..This name is inspired by the Chi Squared text..but I dont think he should know about that...
anyway if you are getting any mathematic vibes from him then definately Chi
