Saddam Hussein's defence is starting.
If convicted he apparently faces the death penalty.
Funny isn't it how it's so obvious that he's going to be killed. This trial is being staged so that noone can turn around and say "hey! wait a minute! you never gave him a fair trial!"
i'm not saying this trial is fair. What i am saying is that noone in the world even CARES that it's going on.
honestly speaking, how many of you are regularly following this case? No one cares, and in effect, America is almost guaranteed the death of Saddam. As long as they follow the little protocols, those of 'justice', 'right to a trial' blah blah blah then they're flying.
I'll tell you who i want to see dead, and right now it's not Saddam.
How dare America get up on its high horse and claim to be on a moral highground when they are the ones who put Saddam in power and kept him there!
There's a word for it...its called back stabbing.
